Dr. Valerie Rodriguez, ND

Dr. Valerie Rodriguez is an Arizona native that has been passionate about helping others since she was in kindergarten. However, at that time, she thought she would do it by being a fire engine, helping firefighters reach their destination. As she has grown, she has realized, through her own experiences and by watching what has happened to her family, that there was something missing from allopathic healthcare.

Dr. Val remembers having a conversation with her doctor telling him about her struggle to lose weight. He told her to eat less and that was all. Little did he know, she had struggled with an eating disorder while she was in high school. This small interaction ignited a fire in her soul to learn everything she could about nutrition. This led her on a path to the University of Arizona where she completed a degree in Nutrition and learned about the existence of naturopathic medicine.

She earned her naturopathic medical degree at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. During this time she dived deeply into learning about women's reproductive health and mental health. She became passionate about helping women to live their best lives and support them to reach their highest potential. Women work hard and give hard. So why does our physiology have to get in the way of that?!? She has learned it doesn't have to. If that's your normal; she'd like to help you reach a new level of normal. A normal where YOU are in control of your life, not your body, and not your emotions.

Dr. Val specializes in treating irregular menstrual cycles, PMS/PMDD, painful cramps, heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, peri-menopause, and PCOS with a combination of acupuncture, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and nutrition. She is a trained Pranic Healer through US Pranic Healing and loves to incorporate this energy-based healing modality where she can. She also treats the following conditions: acne, allergies, anxiety, constipation/ diarrhea, depression, fatigue, hot flashes, and menopause. She provides preventative care, women's wellness exams, and supports women on their weight-loss journeys.

Every step she has taken on this path has only confirmed that she is in the right place. Not only does she get to commit to her childhood dreams of helping others, but she believes wholeheartedly in what she does.

She enjoys spending her free time cruising on her bike, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, meditating, playing pickleball, painting outside the lines, and kicking back with friends and family.
